Welcome to our new website.  My name is Ian Byrnes and I am the Parish Priest of the churches of St Thomas of Canterbury & English Martyrs and the Holy Redeemer.  As we introduce this new website I can't help recalling the time I was in a parish in Peru.  The way we communicated the life of the parish was by using an ordinary typewriter, followed by an old printing press and the bulletins were then travelled to all the villages of the parish on mules.  How things have changed!  Now we have the opportunity of using this medium to communicate the present activity of the parishes.

I hope you will find this a useful tool of communication within the parish as much as the Peruvians did!
